In this module, students will learn how to build the talking camera and calculator apps that can create different sounds through the MIT App Inventor. The MIT App Inventor is a user-friendly program that helps people especially students to construct apps without necessarily having prior knowledge about the programming language. Its easy accessibility through smartphones and tablets along with its easy-to-follow steps makes it exciting and simpler for children to use it.
Through this module, students will create their own talking camera and calculator apps. This talking camera app will make the user feel good with positive comments like “Awesome click”, “Excellent photo”, "Great Capture" after clicking the picture. They will also build a simple calculator with two binary functions, Addition, and Subtraction.
