In this module, students will build their first app with text to speech function through the MIT App Inventor. The MIT App Inventor is a user-friendly program that helps people especially students to construct apps without necessarily having prior knowledge about the programming language. Its easy accessibility through smartphones and tablets along with its easy-to-follow steps makes it exciting and simpler for children to use it.

Through this introductory module, students will be introduced to the interface MIT App Inventor, they will learn how to make the phone talk using the Text to Speech command and further, solve a simple challenge using the concepts learned in the projects.
